About Me

Welcome to Pondering Mind Counselling, an online counselling service based in the beautiful Port Stephens region of NSW, where I am wholeheartedly committed to guiding you on your journey towards emotional healing and resilience

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just a little bit stuck, I want you to know you don’t have to go through it alone.
My role as a counsellor is to walk alongside you, to offer a safe, non-judgmental space where you can be heard, supported, and gently guided towards healing and clarity.

Life doesn’t stop when we’re struggling, so I offer flexible opening hours — including evenings and weekends — to fit counselling around your busy schedule.
Booking is really simple, and you can do it online in just a few clicks, with payments being secure and stress-free.

Every person’s story is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet you where you are, at your own pace.
Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, relationship challenges, or wanting to reconnect with yourself, I’ll be here with empathy, patience, and hope.

I’m a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience caring for people through life’s many challenges. Over those years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and families in times of vulnerability, change, and healing — experiences that have deeply shaped the way I work and connect with others.

Alongside my nursing background, I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling. My approach brings together the compassion of nursing and the insight of counselling — blending practical care with emotional understanding.

I also bring my own lived experience of mental illness. I know, personally, how overwhelming it can feel to face difficult times, and how important it is to be met with empathy, patience, and respect. This experience helps me to walk alongside clients with genuine understanding and without judgment.

In our sessions, I offer a calm and supportive space where you can feel safe to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace. My goal is to help you build awareness, find balance, and move forward with greater clarity and self-compassion.

No GP referral necessary -
Please note that I can not accept Mental Health Care Plans.
